About
Design-Uchi is the website of Sean Aquino, a San Francisco designer and video producer. In traditional mask carving, uchi means the strike of a chisel into wood. Uchi represents the ethos of craftsmanship and the inspiring effect of design when it strikes its observer.
Design-Uchi is my online portfolio of the work I created while living in San Francisco, Japan and Chicago. I have worked for many different types of clients, including small businesses, corporations, start-ups, non-profits and community groups. Through my work with this diverse client base, I have developed expertise in multiple different disciplines of the design process. I strive to consider all creative aspects of a project and integrate them into a single vision.
Services
- Web Design- I can design and implement new websites and online extensions. I can also redesign an existing project or convert existing code to standards-based xhtml/css.
- Identity- I can build visual assets for every situation in print, web and motion.
- Video Production- I can develop concepts into final video products through camera work, editing, and delivery to web or DVD.
- As part of design and identity projects, I also do Print Design and Photography.
